The momentum continues to build as River Rock Casino takes another decisive step towards its highly anticipated re-launch, signaling a new era of luxury and excitement for the premier casino resort.
River Rock Casino Resort Moves Closer to an Exciting Grand Relaunch
- Richmond, BC, casino property is undergoing significant capital improvements.
- Recent dredging at its on-site marina marks an essential development in reactivating the facility.
River Rock Casino Resort has kicked off dredging at its on-site marina, taking a crucial leap towards fully reactivating the 130-slip facility.

Dredging involves removing sediment, sand, and debris from the bottom of water bodies, a task that ensures safe navigation for vessels. Over time, the Fraser River’s natural sedimentation has filled the marina, affecting vessel access. This dredging initiative will restore safe navigation and moorage, with plans to reopen the marina this spring.
Significant Capital Improvements
This resort boasts 400 rooms, all offering picturesque views of the Fraser River. Additionally, the casino features:
- 1,150 slot machines and electronic tables;
- Over 80 live table games;
- A live racebook and a dedicated poker room;
- Luxurious spa amenities.
Recently, Gordon Ramsay Steak, his first fine dining establishment in Canada, opened its doors here.

On the gaming front, improvements are set to include:
